Guides
Nothing here until October 15 — deliberately. Boss patterns, weapon stats, Arcana costs and route orders cannot be verified before the game is playable. What exists now is preview footage of an early slice, and guides written from footage are estimates.
We are writing the walkthrough, boss guides, weapon breakdowns and Arcana build pages from the released game, starting the day it unlocks. In the meantime everything on this site is a fact we could source.

FAQ
When does Castlevania: Belmont's Curse release?
October 15, 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. The Steam listing displays October 14 for some regions — that is a timezone display difference, not a different launch. A Nintendo Switch version is confirmed but has no announced date yet.
Who is making Belmont's Curse?
Konami is publishing, with development led by Evil Empire — the studio behind Dead Cells' post-launch years and its Return to Castlevania expansion — alongside Motion Twin. The PlayStation Blog reports the game has been in development for four years.
Is it a roguelite like Dead Cells?
No. Konami producer Tsutomu Taniguchi has confirmed the team deliberately steered away from permadeath and procedural levels. It is a classic-structure 2D action-exploration Castlevania: one large hand-crafted map, destructible secret walls, and areas that open up as Rose gains new abilities.

Our rule before launch is simple: publish only what we can trace to a primary source, label the date we checked it, and leave a gap where the honest answer is "not known yet".
